The Beatles song Yesterday was written and recorded by Paul McCartney. John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr did not play on the recording. The song first appeared on the Beatles help album released in 1965. It was released as a single on September 13th 1965 in the United States and six months later in the United Kingdom(as part of an EP) it is just over 2 minutes in length. Of all the Beatle compositions this one has been re-recorded the most, with an estimated 3000 versions worldwide. This is an adaption of the Beatles version of Yesterday as the Beatles did not use a piano on the original recording.
