The Beatles song Michelle was written by Paul McCartney with input from various sources including John Lennon (I love you, I love you...), George Martin(guitar solo's) and a French teacher married to a McCartney friend and was recorded by the Beatles over 6 months at Abbey Road Studios. It was released as the 7th track on the A-side of the Rubber Soul album on 3rd December 1965.
