Learn to Play The Beatles - Play Yesterday by the Beatles for Piano

The Beatles song Yesterday was written and recorded by Paul McCartney. John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr did not play on the recording. The song first appeared on the Beatles help album released in 1965. It was released as a single on September 13th 1965 in the United States and six months later in the United Kingdom(as part of an EP) it is just over 2 minutes in length. Of all the Beatle compositions this one has been re-recorded the most, with an estimated 3000 versions worldwide. This is a live version and John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr all leave the stage to allow Paul McCartney to play solo on acoustic guitar. Looking at the way Mccartney is playing, I think(at least for this live version) that McCartney tuned his guitar to D and then played the song starting with an open G chord, which was actually an F chord.
